I remember Santos as always greeting us with a hug, kiss & smile. I became one more of her friends when I married my husband (Larry/Lalo) about 51 1/2 yres ago. She was a loving, friendly, giving, sharing,caring lady. To us she was just one of a kind person. There's a lot that I want to say about Santos, but I won't finish writing until 2-3 days. She loved her husband I could tell also her two sons, Dionicio Jr. and Serapio Garza. Then came the grand children and the story never ends. Santos, I know you are rejoicing with Nicho and the many relatives & friends that were waiting for you in heaven. I'm so glad that I got to know such a person like you. Larry (Lalo ) will miss you forever.

Tia Santos-I am pretty sure it was the distance that kept me from really knowing you and I know your other sisters-but one thing I know ..is that my mother Minnie loved you. there was one thing I noticed about you and Tio, " I admired the love that was shown between you and Tio ..I know that your children and your grandchildren and will also expierence that same love and give them a strong marriage like yours. I know you worked hard because your parents taught you that and you were taught to be honorable and accountable, which you were. Our condolences and prayers to our beautiful family. We deeply loved our Tia. She had a beautiful heart, a beautiful smile, kind words, a hug and a kiss. She was the one aunt that always reminded me of my mom; maybe because they were closer in age. My childhood memories of her is going to Lamesa during the summer and shopping at the store she managed for our school clothes; visiting her at her home; and her hugs. She will be deeply missed. Our prayers and rosaries will continue for her and her family. We love you all.
