We would like to extend my deepest condolences to the Smith family (my cousins), Aunt Weesie will be greatly missed. I can now say I truly know how it feels to lose a parent and the void that it leaves. I want you all to remember the good times you all shared with Aunt Weesie, the joy that was shown on her face when she saw her grandbabies, the love that was given to all, and the many memories that will live on in each and everyone of you. I HAVE KNOWN MARY FOR 30 YEARS. SHE AND HER FRIEND, JEWLENE WILLIAMS,
WOULD COME INTO OUR FAMILY'S FURNITURE STORE, AMOS SUPPLY, EVERY
FRIDAY AFTERNOON SINCE 1986, WE WOULD ALWAYS VISIT AND LAUGH WITH THEM AND ENJOY THEIR STORIES ABOUT THEIR FAMILIES .
MY BROTHER AND I WOULD NOTICE IF THEY HAD NOT COME BY AND WOULD LAUGH THAT WE COULD NOT CLOSE DOWN ON FRIDAY AFTERNOON UNTIL MARY
AND HER FRIEND HAD PAID US THEIR WEEKLY VISIT ! IT WAS A RITUAL !
WE WOULD ENJOY MARY'S VISITS AFTER JEWLENE PASSED AWAY AND MARY WOULD CONTINUE TO DROP BY BUT NOT AS OFTEN.
SHE LOVED HER CHILDREN , HER GRANDCHILDREN AND WOULD NEARLY ALWAYS HAVE COMMENTS ABOUT HER " DAVID LEE". SHE SPOKE OF HER CHURCH OFTEN
AND IT WAS OBVIOUS THAT SHE WAS A CHRISTIAN WOMAN !
SHE WAS A GOOD CHRISTIAN LADYAND WE WILL MISS SEEING HER SMILING FACE.
