Funeral services for Maria Ana Perez, age 76 of Lamesa, Texas will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at the Jehovah's Witness Kingdom Hall in Lamesa, Texas. Interment will follow to Dawson County Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home of Lamesa, Texas.
Maria Ana (Anita) passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas. She was born on April 17, 1940 in San Marcus, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Pedro Perez, Sr. and Julia Gonzales Perez; her brothers, Jesus Perez, Juan Perez, Raymond Perez, Mike Perez.
Anita enjoyed coloring, singing and loved being with her family, nieces, nephews, great-nieces/nehews and she loved to go shopping.
She is survived by her loving family, her brothers, Gabriel Perez and Velma of Bay City, Texas, Marcus Perez, Sr. and Maggie of Lamesa, Texas, Ignacio Perez, Sr. and Rosa of Lamesa, Texas,
Roy Perez and Maria of Big Spring, Texas; her sisters, Gloria Perez Cerna and Baldemar of Lamesa, Texas, Lupe Perez Arredondo and Henry of Lamesa, Texas, Mary Helen Perez Garcia of Victoria, Texas; 60 nieces and nephews that loved their "Tia" very much.
