Beloved Anita, we spent many years together. You never once lied to me. I took you shopping so many times and you always had money but you never wanted to spend yours, just mine. I would buy a hotdog for each one of us and then the world was perfect, for you and for me. You never let us eat without praying first...I would pretend to forget and you would remind me. I would make the prayers extra long when you were extra hungry. lol! You never got married and had children or a family of your own but you bathed many nieces and nephews and changed their clothes, all the time playing with them as if they were your baby dolls. When I introduced you to my soon to be wife Mary, she bought you a white teddy bear. You grabbed it and said: "Come on Baby!" Mary laughed and laughed and always called you "Come On Baby" instead of your name Anita. You washed my clothes and ironed them for me so I could go to work and you never complained. I had the privilege of taking you to many congregation meetings at the Kingdom Hall and to many assemblies all over Texas and New Mexico. In one of those assemblies you dedicated your life to Jehovah and was baptized. You knew what that meant. You sure did enjoy serving Jehovah and singing to Him with our mother and the Jehovah's Witness family. The congregation of Lamesa, Texas loved you like their own sister, so I shared you with them. So, I guess we are even. I know you were always there for me. I will be there for you when your name is called by Jesus and Jehovah. We will be together again soon my dear sister. I will miss you very much. Mary says she will be there waiting for you too and this time she will bring a real white teddy bear just for you. ~Your baby brother Roy and Mary Perez~
