I remember meeting Aunt Dora when I was 15, on a trip to Lamesa with my father, Louis Alexander, Gustavo's son who is Aunt Doras brother. She was very nice to me and I always wanted to come back and visit her to learn more about my Grandfather Gustavo. Today, I have an urge to find out my aunt name in hopes to contact her again, My dad gave me her name and I googled it, only to find this :( I was too late. Rest in Peace Auntie. I guess we will all catch up when It's my turn.

I have so much love and respect for Dora -- I got to know her as the "grandmother" of the Luera children.. and she was such a loving, strong, dependable grandmother....loved and respected by all who knew her. RIP my friend!
My memories of Dora are working with her at the sewing factory. We had a lot of fun..I worked with all her girls and and her son and her husband Inez...He was a great man.I also remember the delisious burretos she would make bring and bring and sell them to us at break..They were awesome..I wish I could have been there for her funeral but I am living in Longview,Wa.Love you all and God BLESS...tHIS IS Nancy Saunders..
Used to have soo much fun when we went to lamesa for a visit when I was a lil girl. She always gave us money to buy penny candy at the little store down the street. You have always been in my heart and in my heart you will always be. Love you Aunt Dora. Thanks for the great memories. Cynthia Amaro Hughes

Dora Flores, was a good family friend we'll miss her. My father Arturo and Mom Anita Leal thought very highly of Ms Dora and her late husband , which we fondly called 'EL Nene Flores'.
I have many great memories of Ms Dora, but in particular a 'small-friendly-party' at her house in the middle or late 1970's. The get-together was very lively with music, conversation and a little dancing. It got to the point that my late-friend Oscar Guterriez got carried away dancing and knocked-over Ms Dora's Christmas Tree. I bet she is up there in heaven smiling remembering that great Christmas.
My deepest sympathy and sincere condolences to all of Ms Dora's beautiful daughters and to my friend Pete 'EL Peter Boy' Flores. It's a sad time to go during Christmas but on the up-side...each year during Christmas the family can celebrate Ms Dora Flores full and happy life. May she Rest in Peace and keep interceding for all of us down here from her new home in heaven.
