Funeral services to Celebrate the life of Yolanda Aguilar Solis age 75 of Lamesa, TX. will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at the Primera Baptist Church located at 509 NE 4th Street in Lamesa, TX. with Pastor Ovidio Martinez officiating. Burial committal will follow to the Dawson County Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the trusted care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.
The viewing will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at the Primera Baptist Church starting at 10:00 a.m. together with the Celebration of Life service.
Yolanda was called home by her precious Lord on Friday, August 15, 2025, in Lamesa, TX. She was born on June 20, 1950, in Karnes City, TX.
Yolanda was preceded in death by her father, Jose Maria Aguilar and her mother, Eloisa Saenz Aguilar; brother, Alejandro Aguilar; sisters, Norma Arguijo, and Amalia Aguilar.
Yolanda is survived by her son, Juan Solis, Jr. (Denise) of Granbury, TX.; grandson, Gabriel Solis of Ceres, CA, and grand-daughter, Patience Solis of Marble Falls, TX.; brothers, Jose Aguilar (Guadlupe) of Lubbock, TX., Juan Aguilar of Lamesa, TX., Elias Aguilar of Lamesa, TX., Richard Aguilar (Naomi) of Odessa, TX., Ruben Aguilar (Lupe) of Cleburne, TX.; sisters, Mary Villa (Hector) of Midland, TX., Oralia Gonzales of Lamesa, TX., Elda Ramirez of Poth, TX., Esther Olivares of Lubbock, TX.; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
