YOLANDA GUAJARDO RAMIREZ's Obituary
A Catholic funeral mass of Christian burial will be celebrated for Yolanda Guajardo Ramirez age 62 of Lamesa, TX., at 10:00 a.m., on Thursday, July 6, 2023, at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church with Father Chacko Thadathil officiating. Burial committal will follow to the Dawson County Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.
Viewing and visitation will be held at Gonzales Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 4, 2023, from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., and Wednesday, July 5, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m., with a Wednesday night Rosary Prayer service at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel starting at 7:00 p.m.
Yolanda passed away on Sunday, July 2, 2023, in Lubbock, TX. Yolanda was born on May 13, 1961, in Seminole, TX.
Yolanda was preceded in death by her father, Carmen Ramirez, and her mother, Gertrudes Ramirez; her infant brother, Anthony Arispe.
Yolanda loved all her family and friends. She liked Lotto tickets and was known as “the Football Square Lady”. Yolanda enjoyed decorating for all holidays, especially Christmas, and going to the Casino. She was just a beautiful lady inside and outside with a joyful unforgettable smile.
Yolanda is survived by her daughters, Amy Ramirez (Moses Flores), and Carmen Ramirez (Joe Cuellar), all of Lamesa, TX; her son, Adrian Ramirez of Lamesa, TX.; her grandson, Ivan Ramirez of Lamesa, TX.; her brother, Santos Ramirez of Lamesa, TX.; her sisters, Sylvia Natividad (Joe) of Lamesa, TX., and Gloria Vasquez of Brownfield, TX.; numerous relatives and friends.
