YOLANDA ARREDONDO's Obituary
Funeral services for Yolanda Arredondo age 66 of Lamesa, TX. will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 22, 2022 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church with Father Chacko Thadathil officiating. Burial committal will follow to the Dawson County Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2022 and Friday, October 21, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary prayer service at 7:00 p.m. on Friday at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel.
Yolanda passed on Monday, October 17, 2022 in Lubbock, TX. She was born May 13, 1956 in Lovington, New Mexico. Yolanda married Manuel Arredondo, Jr. on February 24, 2009 in Lamesa, TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Tomas and Eloisa Vara; her step-son, Manuel Arredondo III.
Yolanda enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She loved playing Bingo and enjoyed outdoor weather.
Yolanda is survived by her husband, Manuel Arredondo, Jr. of Lamesa, TX.; her sons, Mark Compean of Big Spring, TX., and Louie Compean of Lamesa, TX.; her step-sons, Randy Arredondo of Fort Worth, TX., Ronnie Arredondo, Danny Gomez, Roy Arredondo, Billy Arredondo, Victor Arredondo, Jacob Arredondo, all of Arlington, TX, Aaron Arredondo of Lamesa, TX.; her step-daughters, Rosie Gomez of Fort Worth, TX., and Velma Arredondo of Arlington, TX.; his brothers, Thomas Vara, Clyde Bara, Jesse Vara, Albert Vara, Anthony Vara, all of Lamesa, TX.; his sisters, Mary Zavala of Midland, TX., Delia Barrera, Kathy Molina, and Gloria Cantu, all of Lamesa, TX.; 65 grandchildren; numerous relatives and friends.
