Funeral serives for Victoria Velasquez, 58, of Lamesa will be at 10: a.m., Monday, April 1, 2013 at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Nick Cervantez officiating. Burial will follow at Dawson County Cemetery under the direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.
Victoria passed away peacefully at her residence on Wednesday, March 27, 2013. She was born on April 13, 1954 in Tucson, AZ. Victoria married Isidro Vasquez on October 21, 1978 in El Paso, TX., she was married to Isidro for 23 years.
Victoria was a housewife and a loving and caring unselfish mother. She will be missed deeply and will never be forgotten.
Victoria was preceded in death by her parents, Timoteo and Pauline Trevino; two brothers, Henry Trevino and Ruben Trevino.
Survivors include her two daughters, Veronica Velasquez of Lamesa, TX. and Leticia Velasquez of El Paso, TX.; one son, Isidro Velasquez, Jr. of Lamesa, TX.; four sisters, Lupe Cortez of Houston, TX., Linda Trevino of Lamesa, TX., Esperanza Salinas and husband, Joe of Plainview, TX. and Mary Horn of Tacoa, WA.; three brothers, Timoteo Trevino, Jr. and wife, Mary of Angleton, TX., Jessie Trevino of Rio Ondo, TX. and Rudy Trevino of Midland, TX.; twelve grandchildren.
