A Catholic funeral service mass will be celebrated for 48 year old Valente Armendariz of Lamesa at 10:00 a.m., on Monday, August 5, 2013 at St. Margaret Mary Cathoic Church with Father Joseph Kurumbel officiating. Burial will follow at Dawson County Cemetery under the direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.
Rosary services are set for 7:00p.m. on Saturday and Sunday at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel.
Valente died on Thursday, August 1, 2013 at Medical Arts Hospital in Lamesa. TX.
Valente was born on June 9, 1965 in Lamesa. He was a farm worker.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Maria C. Armendariz; his brother, Antonio Armendariz, Jr.
Survivors include his son, Chris Armendariz and wife Yolanda Armendariz of Welch, TX; his father, Antonio Armendariz, Sr. of Lamesa, TX.; one brother, Mario Armendariz and wife Lucie of Lamesa, TX.; four grandchildren, Angel Armendariz, Leslie Armendariz, Alexis Armendariz and Devon Armendariz, all of Welch, TX.
