TONY (QUACK) LOPEZ's Obituary
A Catholic funeral service Mass will be celebrated for Tony (Quack) J. Lopez age 64 at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at San Lorenzo Catholic Church in Lorenzo, Texas with Father Jose M. Kochuparambil officiating. Interment will follow to the Lorenzo Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home of Lamesa, Texas.
Viewing will be held at San Lorenzo Catholic Church on Tuesday April 24, 2018 starting at 5:00 p.m. and followed with a Rosary prayer service at 7:00 p.m.
Tony passed away on Saturday, April 21, 2018 in Lubbock, Texas. He was born on January 28, 1954 in Taylor, Texas. Tony married Esther Puente on August 24, 1974 in Ralls, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Victor and Victoria Lopez.
Tony was a professional truck driver. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren and playing golf.
Tony is survived by his loving family, his wife, Esther Lopez of Lorenzo, Texas; his son, Victor Lopez of Lorenzo, Texas; his daughter, Cathy Lopez of Lubbock, Texas; his grandchildren, Dylan, Ryan, Zoey Lopez, Makayla, Kymberlyn Chavez;
his brothers, John Lopez of Lubbock, Texas, Rudy Lopez of Petersburg, Texas, and Abel Lopez of Shallowater, Texas; his sisters, Rosie Hinojos of Idalou, Texas, Virginia Lopez of Woodrow, Texas and Gloria Salinas of Del Rio, Texas; several relatives and friends.
