TERRY GARCIA's Obituary
A Catholic funeral mass celebration service for Terry Garcia age 56 of Austin, TX. will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 20, 2024, at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church with Father Sylvester Dsouza officiating. Burial committal will follow to the Dawson County Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the trusted care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.
The viewing will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2024, at Gonzales Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary prayer service at 7:00 p.m.
Terry passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2024, in Midland, TX. He was born on January 14, 1968, in Lamesa, TX.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Julian Garcia and Reveca Garcia; brothers, Pete Garcia, Julian Garcia, Adam Garcia, Joe Garcia, Johnny Garcia, and Mario Garcia; sisters, Celia Garcia, and Mary Rodriquez.
Terry was a carpenter by trade, which he loved. He was a Texas Longhorn fan, was always the life of the party, joking, and laughing all the time. Loved his husky Yogi.
Terry is survived by his sisters, Petra Guzman, and Rosa Moreno, both of Lamesa, TX.; brothers, Danny Garcia of Lamesa, TX., and Jerry Garcia (sister-in-law Maya Garcia) of Midland, TX.; numerous relatives, nephews, nieces, and his favorite nephew Little J, and his best friend Goyo Cortez.
