Funeral services for Tammy Seely age 58 of Lamesa, TX. will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at the Faith Temple Dayspring Church with Pastor Melba Napper officiating. The burial committal will be at the Dawson County Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the trusted care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.
The family visitation time will be held at Gonzales Funeral Home from 6:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 13, 2026.
Tammy passed away surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, January 10, 2026, in De Leon, TX. She was born on September 12, 1967, in Houston, TX. Tammy married Brett Seely on November 22, 1985, in Lamesa, TX.
Tammy was preceded in death by her husband, Brett Seely; her father, Donnie Welch; her sister, Kim Clements.
Tammy enjoyed motorcycle trips with Brett, girls’ trips to Las Vegas, and Mexico with her sisters, mom, cousins, and friends. She loved spending time with family, especially her grandbabies, who were the light of her life. Tammy worked in EMS for 10 years and enjoyed her work at Pate Trucking after leaving the medical field.
Tammy is survived by her mother, Betty Leonard of Lamesa, TX.; her son, Trey Seely (Taylor) of De Leon, TX.; her daughter, Somer Jackson (Kiersten) of Lubbock, TX.; her sister, Radonda Smith of Lamesa, TX., and Belinda Doyle (Rick) of Andrews, TX.; her brothers, Ben Leonard (Audra) of Midland, TX., and J.C. Leonard (Merri Jo) of Duncan, OK. her grandbabies, Talynn and Tate Seely of De Leon, TX., and Kamryn and Wyatt Thetford of Lubbock, TX.; numerous family members and friends.
