SILVIA LEMON's Obituary
Funeral services to Celebrate the Life of Silvia Lemon age 69 of Lamesa, TX., will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at the First Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Jeremiah Aguayo, and Pastor Mike Barkowsky officiating. The burial committal will follow to the Dawson County Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the trusted care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.
The visitation with family and friends will be held on Monday, October 6, 2025, at Gonzales Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m.
Silvia passed away on Monday, September 22, 2025. She was born on February 12, 1956, in Stanton, TX.
Silvia was preceded in death by father, Daniel Lemon, and her mother, Juanita Lemon; her grandson, C.J. Mendez; her brothers, Frank Lemon, Sonny Lemon, Dan Lemon; her nephew, J.D. Longoria; her nieces, Melissa Jasso, and Leigh Ann Jasso.
Silvia was known for her big heart and big smile; she was a beloved figure in her community. She cherished her church visits and spent quality time with her family. Her unwavering support for her grandchildren, nieces, and nephews was evident in her frequent travels to watch them play sports. Silvia’s culinary skills were renowned, as she spent many years cooking for her family she adored. She loved to play Bingo with her neighbors down the street. Her passion for crafting extended to sewing, crocheting, and creating homecoming mum’s. While she had a love-hate relationship with the Dallas Cowboys, her overall impact on those around her was profound. Silvia’s smile, which could brighten any room, will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Silvia is survived by her loving family, her daughter, Terrie Parraz (Jeff) of Lamesa, TX., her son, Anthony Parraz of Petersburg, TX., and Aleshia Parraz of Lamesa, TX.; her brothers, David Limon (Delia) of Plano, TX., and Ruben Lemon (Dolores) of Whiteface, TX.; her sisters, Linda Perez of Stanton, TX., and Christina Luna (Martin) of Lamesa, TX.: her grandsons, Marc Parra of Lamesa, TX., Isaac Paredez of Lamesa, TX., Kaden Parraz (Kaylee) of Petersburg, TX., Dayln Parraz of Petersburg, TX., X’Zayvian Parraz of Lamesa, TX., and Robert (Kayson) Parraz of Lamesa, TX.; Brittany Moya (Manny) of Meadow, TX., Peyton (Siri) Parraz of Petersburg, TX., Jaeleigh Rangel (Pablo) of Carrollton, TX., and Ariah Rangel of Lamesa, TX.; numerous relatives and friends.
