Funeral services for Severiano Amaya Gonzalez, age 87 of O'Donnell, Texas are set for 10:00 a.m.
Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at Family Harvest Church in Lamesa, Texas with Pastor Joey Rivas officiating. Burial will follow to O'Donnell Cemetery in O'Donnell, Texas. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home of Lamesa, Texas.
Mr. Gonzalez passed away on Sunday, July 20, 2014 in Lamesa, Texas. He was born on April 20, 1927 in Mexico. Severiano was a farmer for many years. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather. He enjoyed being around his great-grandchildren and family. His hobbies were gardening and sharing his produce with family and friends.
Preceding him in death was his wife, Dora DeAnda and his son Jimmy.
He is survived by his sons, Blas DeAnda and Fred Manning, both of Oklahoma City, OK; his daughters, Isabel Dominguez, Maria Chavira, Yolanda Chavia, all of Lamesa, Texas, Soyla Fruntes of Elsa, Texas ans Corina Dominguez of O;Donnell, Texas; fourteen grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren.
