SEFERINA PAIZ's Obituary
Chapel funeral services for Seferina Paiz age 83 of Levelland, Texas and formerly of Lamesa, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, October 19, 2018 at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Trini Sanchez officiating. Interment will follow to Dawson County Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.
Viewing will be held on Thursday at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel with an Inspirational Service at 6:00 p.m.
Mrs. Paiz died on Monday, October 15, 2018 in Levelland. She was born on June 2, 1935 in George West, Texas. Seferina married Juan Paiz, Sr. on February 11, 1954 in George West.
Survivors include her husband, Juan Paiz, Sr. of Lubbock, Texas; nine sons, Juan Paiz, Jr., Jimmy Paiz and Jessie Paiz, all of Lubbock, Texas, Valentin Paiz of Chattanooga, Tenn., Adolfo Paiz of George West, Texas, Trino Paiz and Ricky Paiz, both of Sundown, Texas, Martin Paiz of Melissa, Texas, and Joe Paiz of Smyer; five daughters, Andrea Lara of Tahoka, Texas, Geneva Mendez of Lubbock, Texas, Nora Paiz of Lamesa, Connie Escobedo of Littlefield, Texas and Maricella Paiz of Sundown, Texas; 34 grandchildren; 90 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
