Funeral services for Sarah Louise Galindo Navarro age 58 of Kermit, TX., will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 17, 2024, at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Joe Mohler officiating. Burial committal will follow to the Dawson County Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the trusted case and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.
The viewing and visitation will be held at Gonzales Funeral Home on Saturday, June 15, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until 900 p.m., and Sunday, June 16, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
Sarah passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2024, in Odessa, TX. She was born on October 24, 1965, in Lubbock, TX.
Sarah was preceded in death by her mother, Vera Galindo; her brother, Eddie Galindo; paternal grandparents, Pete Galindo, Sr., and Georgia Galindo; her maternal grandparents, Jose and Elvira Rivera.
Sarah enjoyed cooking and hanging out with her family. She also enjoyed her dogs. She especially loved being around all her grandchildren. The light of her eyes was her son Joseph.
Sarah is survived by her loving family, her husband, Hector Navarro of Kermit, TX.; her daughter, Aimee Vela of Kermit, TX.; her sons, Johnathan Vela of Kermit, TX., Jeremy Vela and wife, Clarissa of Seminole, TX., and Joseph Vela of Kermit, TX.; her father, Pete Galindo, Jr. of Kermit, TX.; her sisters, Sandra Galindo of Odessa, TX., and Sylvia Escobedo of Seminole, TX.; 13 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild; numerous relatives and friends.
