Graveside funeral services for Santos N. Salazar, age 84 of Lamesa, Texas will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 26, 2013 at Lamesa Memorial Park with Pastor Sylvia Ortiz officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.
An Inspirational Service will be at 2:00p.m.on Sunday, August 25, 2013 with Pastor Sylvia Ortiz at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel.
Mrs. Salazar passed away at her home with her family by her side on Thursday, August 22, 2013 in Lamesa, Texas.
Santos was born on December 9, 1928 in Stanton, Texas. She married Pedro G. Salazar in 1943 in Lamesa. Santos was a housewife and a member of East Side Baptist Church of Lamesa, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Eleno andJulia Nunez; three sisters, Santos Harris, Luisa Flores and Lucia Salazar.
Santos is survived by her husband, Pedro Salazar of Lamesa; her daughter, Julia N. Salazar of Lamesa; her son, Pete N. Salazar of Lamesa; one brother, Jasinto Nunez of San Gabriel, California.
