SANTIAGO (JIMMY/CHAGO) ROBLES's Obituary
Funeral services for Santiago (Jimmy/Chago) Robles age 76 of Lamesa, TX., will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 9, 2024, at the church of Templo Elim with Pastors Abel Hernandez and Jon Hernandez officiating. Burial committal will follow to the Dawson County Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the trusted care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.
The viewing will be held at Gonzales Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Thursday, February 8, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. with an Inspirational Service starting at 7:00 p.m.
Santiago passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2024, in Lamesa, TX. He was born on May 1, 1947, in Lamesa, TX. Santiago married Carmen Hernandez on February 8, 1969, in Lamesa, TX.
Santiago was preceded in death by his wife, Carmen Hernandez Robles; his parents, Maximo and Benita Robles; brothers, Ernesto Robles, and Ramon Robles; sisters, Juanita Robles Dominguez, Emma Robles Lozano, and Gloria Robles.
Santiago was a retired welder, devoted Christian, and loving family man. He was known for his “green pickup truck” and visiting everyone in town. Santiago was a faithful member of his beloved church Templo Elim.
Santiago is survived by his loving family, his son, Steve Robles and daughter-in-law, Loretta Robles of Lamesa, TX.; his daughters, Sandra Robles Barker, and Sonia Robles, both of Lamesa, TX.; his granddaughters, Sydnee Robles of Levelland, TX, Syrena Robles of Slaton, TX., Iliana Robles of Lubbock, TX.; his grandsons, Isaac Robles of Lubbock, TX., William Barker of California, and George Barker of Fort Hood, TX.; his sister, Adelita Rodriguez, and Eva Robles High, both of Lamesa, TX.; numerous relatives and friends.
