SANPIO SAMORA's Obituary
A Chapel funeral service for Sanpio Samora, age 63 of Lamesa, Texas will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday May 3, 2017 at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel with Joel Sanchez officiating. Interment will follow to Dawson County Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home of Lamesa, Texas.
Viewing will be held on Monday and Tuesday with an Inspirational service set for 7:00 p.m. on both nights.
Sanpio passed away on Sunday April 30, 2017 at his home in Lamesa, Texas. He was born on July 11, 1953 in Lamesa, Texas. He enjoyed watching tv, playing on his tablet, playing cards with his family and working on puzzles.
He was preceded in death by his father, Frank V. Samora.
Sanpio is survived by his family, his son, Sanpio Samora, Jr. of Hamlin, Texas; his daughters, Nora A. Samora Ponce of Abilene, Texas; his mother, Jovita Linan Samora of Lamesa, Texas; his brother, Lupe Samora and wife, Mary of Lubbock, Texas; his sisters, Luisa S. Rivas and husband, Gilbert of Lamesa, Texas, Mary Pesina and husband, Jose of Lubbock, Texas, Martina Samora of Lubbock, Texas, Dolores S. Hernandez and husband, David of Lamesa, Texas, Brigida S. Kennedy of Bethany, OK; hios step-brother, Chris Lopez of Plainview, Texas; his step-sister, Christina Rojas and husband, Joel of Plainview, Texas; his girlfriend, Maria Rios of Lubbock, Texas; five grandchildren.
