Chapel funeral services for San Juana Barrioz age 66 of Lamesa, TX. will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday September 17, 2020 at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jemeriah Aguayo officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home. Due to the current area Covid-19 situation we continue to practice public safety measures.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at Gonzales Funeral Home until 9:00 p.m. San Juana passed away on Monday September 14, 2020 in Lubbock, TX. She was born on May 11, 1954 in Harlingen, Tx. San Juana was married to Raymond Barrioz, Sr. until his death. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Barrioz, Sr.; her baby boy Raymond Barrioz, Jr.; her parents from Monterey, Mexico. San Juana worked at D & C Pecans until is closed down, and then she decided to stay home with her children. She loved to be with grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom adored her so much. Spending precious time with family was her favorite. She enjoyed playing Bingo, and Spanish Loteria Bingo in her free time, and she also loved to go dancing. San Juana was our sassy queen and our Wonder Woman, she was an amazing person who did so much, not just family, but for so many others. She will be missed dearly. San Juana is survived by her children, her daughters, Laura Barrioz, Felipa Barrioz, Diana Barrioz, Amelia Barrioz, Hilda Barrioz, Sonia Barrioz, and Rubi Zorola and husband, Xavier Zorola, all of Lamesa, TX.;her sons, Benito Barrioz of Lamesa, TX., Juan Barrioz and wife, Jessica Barrioz of Midland, TX., Pedro Barrioz and wife, Loretta Barrioz of Lamesa, TX., and Raymundo Barrioz of Lamesa, TX.; 41 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; numerous relatives and friends.
