Funeral services for San Juan Cuellar age 58 of Lamesa, TX. will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Trinidad Sanchez officiating. The burial will follow at the Dawson County Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the trusted care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.
The viewing and visitation will be held on Monday, February 26, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. with an Inspiration Service at 7:00 p.m. with Brother Victor Enriquez.
San Juan passed away at home surrounded by his family on Friday, February 23, 2024, in Lamesa, TX. He was born on August 10, 1965, in Lamesa, TX. San Juan married Areen Trevino.
San Juan was preceded in death by his son, Travis Esparza; his father, Modesto Rosales Cuellar; his brothers, Ricky Cuellar and Luis Angel Cuellar.
San Juan worked many years for Hughes Fertilizer, Reese Albert Construction, and Chris Moreno Construction.
San Juan is survived by his sons, Jonathan R. Cuellar of Midland, TX., and Jacob Gonzales (Melinda) of Big Spring, TX.; his daughter, Abigail Trevino; his mother, Marcella Cuellar of Lamesa, TX.; his sisters, Victoria Bara (Jesse Bara), Virginia Riojas (Alex Riojas), and Sofia Cerna (Domingo Cerna), all of Lamesa, TX.; 6 grandchildren; numerous relatives and friends.
