A Catholic funeral mass service will be celebrated for Ruben R. Mojica age 57 of Lamesa, TX. at 10:00 a.m. Friday March 15, 2019 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church with Father Joseph Kurumbel officiating. Interment will follow to the Dawson County Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home of Lamesa, TX.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday and Thursday at Gonzales Funeral Home with a Rosary prayer service on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel.
Ruben passed away on Tuesday March 12, 2019 in Lamesa. He was born on July 4, 1961 in Lamesa, TX.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, Rudy R. Mojica, Julian R. Mojica, Johnie R. Mojica, and Mariano R. Mojica, Jr.
Ruben was a lifelong resident of Lamesa. He served in the National Guard. Ruben enjoyed spending time at home and with his family.
Survivors include, his mother, Adelaida R. Mojica and father, Mariano H. Mojica of Lamesa, TX.; his sister, Mary M. Castellano and his brother, David R. Mojica, both of Lamesa, TX; several relatives and friends.
