ROY GUTIERREZ's Obituary
Family and friends will gather for a Memorial Catholic graveside service for Roy Gutierrez, age 64, on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at 10:00 a.m., at the Dawson County Cemetery with Father Chacko Thadathil officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Gonzales Funeral Home.
Roy Gutierrez was born on December 8, 1957 in Lamesa,TX. Roy passed away on June 18, 2022.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Juan Gutierrez and Connie Mata.
Roy was a self-taught "Jack of all Trades". He was a perfectionist in everything he did. His favorite passion of all times was riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle. He also enjoyed fishing. Roy was VERY talented and creative. He built beautiful colorful train cars out of old barrels for kids to ride. Hugh multi-color Birdhouses with extensive details. Large wooden biplane spinners and so much more unique creative pieces. Roy was loved by his family and countless friends. He never met a stranger.
The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Medical Arts Hospital, the staff at Focused Care Nursing Home and Home Hospice for their dedication and commitment in taking care of Roy. He will be missed dearly. Rest in Heavenly Paradise.
