Funeral services to celebrate the life of Rosendo Gaitan, Jr. (RJ) age 33 of Lamesa, TX. will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 19, 2025, at the Agape Ministry Church with Pastors Manuel and Irene Salazar officiating. The burial committal will follow to the Dawson County Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the trusted care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.
The viewing will be held at Gonzales Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Thursday, September 18, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m.
Rosendo passed away on Friday, September 12, 2025, in Lamesa, TX. He was born on July 26, 1992, in Lamesa, TX.
Rosendo was preceded in death by his father, Rosendo Gaitan, Sr.
RJ loved to listen to music. He enjoyed spending precious time with his nieces, nephews, and family. He loved to BB-Q. RJ was a hard-working man who love to drive 18 wheelers. He was the most loving and caring person you could meet. Rosendo will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
RJ is survived by his loving family, his beloved mother, Betsy Gaitan, and stepfather, Gerardo Banuelos, Sr. of Lamesa, TX.; his sisters, Letty Reyna of Big Spring, TX., Amanda Reyna of Lamesa, TX., Roxanne Gaitan of Lamesa, TX., Rosenda Gaitan of Arlington, TX., Selena Gaitan Hall of Midland, TX. , and Jazmin Gaitan Fuller of Midland, TX.; his nephews, Idian Gallegos of Lamesa, TX., Ethan Gallegos of Lamesa, TX., Zaden Delgado of Lamesa, TX., Jace Delgado of Lamesa, TX., Lorenzo Banuelos of Lamesa, TX., Zerick Hall of Midland, TX., Jason Fuller, Jr., of Midland, TX., Chicago Fuller of Midland, TX.; his nieces, Serenity Garcia of Big Spring, TX., Wyomii Gallegos of Lamesa, TX., Zay’lee Delgado of Lamesa, TX., Kamilia Banuelos of Lamesa, TX., Zalynn Hall of Midland, TX., Zamari Hall of Midland, TX., J’Licia Hall of Midland, TX.; numerous relatives and friends.
