ROSA TREVINO's Obituary
A Catholic funeral mass will be celebrated for Rosalia (Rosa) Trevino age 94 of Lamesa at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday May 23, 2018 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church with Father Joseph officiating. Interment will follow to Dawson County Cemtery. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.
Viewing will be held on Monday and Tuesday with a Rosary prayer service on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel.
Rosa passed away on Sunday May 20, 2018 in Lamesa, TX. She was born on September 4, 1923 in Beltram, Texas. Rosa married Pedro Trevino in 1958 in Thrall, Texas.
Rosa was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Pedro Trevino, Sr.; her beloved son, Armando Trevino.
Rosa was a homemaker who loved her family and taught them work hard. She was never afraid to work hard or challanges, she was very determined and head strong until the end.
Rosa is survived by her children, her daughter, Mary Sandoval of Round Rock, TX, Bernice Hernandez (Ticho) of Lamesa, TX., Dora Trevino (Rocky) of Marbel Falls, Texas, Pedro Trevino of Lubbock, TX., Freddie Trevino (Aranda) of Lamesa, TX., Eli Hernandez (Debbie) of O'Donnell, TX., and Jimmy Hernandez (Serena) of Lamesa, TX., nineteen grandchildren; forty-four great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
