Funeral Services for Rogelio M. Garza age 62 of Lamesa, TX. will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 5, 2019 at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel with Luis Alvear officiating. Burial will follow to the Dawson County Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home of Lamesa, TX.
Viewing will be held on Saturday and Sunday at Gonzales Funeral Home.
Rogelio passed away on Thursday, August 1, 2019 in Big Spring, Texas. He was born on October 6, 1956 in Reynosa, Mexico.
He was preceded in death by his father, Benardo Garza; his mother, Maria Ana Garza; brother, Pedro Valdez; grandson, Robert Granado, Jr.; aunt, Maria Perez; niece, Melissa Perez; mother-in-law, Inez Perez.
Rogelio worked in the oilfields. He loved to BBQ, fishing and drinking with friends.
Rogelio is survived by his daughters, Maria Garza and son-in-law, Melton Garza of Big Spring, TX., Jessica Garza of Lamesa, TX., Elsa Tijerina and son-in-law, Mathew Tijerina of Big Spring, TX.; his sons, Rogelio Garza and daughter-in-law, Lynn Garza of Lamesa, TX., Alex Garza and daughter-in-law, Melissa Garza of Lamesa, TX., and Felix Garza of Lamesa, TX.; 19 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
