Funeral services to celebrate the life of Ray Galindo, age 73 of Lamesa, TX., will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Liboryo Iglesias officiating. The burial committal will follow to the Dawson County Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the trusted care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.
The viewing will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Gonzales Funeral Home.
Ray passed away on Friday, February 7, 2025, in Lamesa, TX. He was born on June 16, 1951, in Bloomington, TX. Ray married Irene Moreno in April 1969 in Lamesa, TX.
Ray was preceded in death by his father, Pete Galindo, Sr., and his mother, Georgia Galindo; his brother Casey Galindo.
Ray was a commercial traveling truck driver. He was the owner of an RV Parking business. Ray enjoyed spending time with his family.
Ray is survived by his wife, Irene Galindo of Lamesa, TX.; his daughter, Lisa Galindo of Lamesa, TX.; his sons, Ray Galindo, Jr. and Desi Galindo, both of Lamesa, TX.; his brothers, Ernest Galindo of Odessa, TX., and Pete Galindo, Jr. of Kermit, TX.; 18 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Honoring Ray as his pallbearers are, grandchildren, Nathaniel Galindo of Lamesa, Elijah Castillo of Midland, Trevor Harris of Midland, Charlie Harris of Midland, Erik Alcorta of Levelland; grand-daughters, Destiny Galindo-Ibarra of Lubbock, TX, Alyse Galindo of Lubbock, TX.
