PEARL BUTLER's Obituary
Celebration of life services for Pearl Butler age 95 of Lamesa, TX. will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor David Boyd officiating. Burial committal will follow to the Dawson County Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.
Viewing and family visitation hour will be held on Friday, November 10, 2023, from 7:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Gonzales Funeral Home.
Pearl passed away on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at her home in Lamesa, TX. She was born on November 12, 1927, in Cameron, TX.
Pearl was preceded in death by her mother, Johnnie Mae Ricord, and father, Willie Hutson; 3 sons, Clinton Chamber, Freddie Lee Chamber, and Clarence Whitely; 2 daughters, Johnnie Mae McClendon, and Debra Sue Alexander.
Pearl retired from the Lamesa Head Start School as the Head Cook of 20 years. She was a faithful member of the Ebenezer Baptist Church. Pearl loved flowers and working in her yard.
Those left to cherish her memory are, her daughter, Pearl Manuel and son-in-law, Aaron Manuel of Lamesa, TX.; her son, Steve Alexander of Lamesa, TX.; host of grandchildren, great-grand-children, great-great-grandchildren; host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
