A Catholic funeral mass of will be celebrated for Pablo G. Sanchez age 76 of Lamesa, TX. at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 13, 2022 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church with Father Chacko Thadathil officiating. Funeral arrangements were under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.
Viewing and visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 12, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m.,at Gonzales Funeral Home with a Rosary prayer service staring at 7:00 p.m.
Pablo passed away on Monday, July 11, 2022 in Lamesa. He was born September 26, 1945 in Winters, TX. Pablo married Helen Reyes, October 6, 1972.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Pablo Sanchez, Sr., and Juanita Sanchez; his brothers, Jesus Sanchez, Mike Sanchez, Jose Sanchez, and Sisto Sanchez; his great-grand-daughter, Rae’Lynn Danielle Sanchez.
Pablo was a retired farmer.
Pablo is survived by his wife, Helen Sanchez of Lamesa; his daughters, Janie Sanchez, and Estela Nelson and son-in-law, Robin Nelson, all of Lamesa; his sons, Paul Sanchez, Jr., and daughter-in-law, Becky Sanchez, and Carlos Sanchez, all of Lamesa; 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; his sisters, Lupe Silva of San Antonio, TX., Lily Rosales of Rosenberg, TX., and Helen Salinas of Lamesa; numerous relatives and friends.
