Funeral services for Pablo (Paul) L. Lopez age 50 of Lamesa, TX. will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, March 14, 2021 at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.
Visitation and viewing will be held on Friday, March 12, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., with a Rosary prayer service at 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday, March 13, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m., with a Rosary prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at Gonzales Funeral Home.
Paul passed away Wednesday, March 10, 2021 in Midland, TX. He was born on June 20, 1970 in Lamesa, TX. Paul, and the love of his life, Bertha Ogeda, both started their family in 1992 in Lamesa, TX.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Enrique and Santos Lopez.
Paul was self-employed as a professional welder, and an amazing welder at that. He loved to play outside sports with his grandsons. He enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys, and jammin’ to is favorite music. Paul was an amazing husband, great father, loving grandpa, and nephew. He really loved to be surrounded with family and friends.
Paul is survived by his wife, Bertha Ogeda of Lamesa, TX.; his three daughters, Nicolette Lopez and husband, Trey Barrera, and Savanna Lopez, and Gabriella Lopez, all of Lamesa, TX.; his brothers, Henry Lopez, Jr., and wife, Nelda Lopez of Lubbock, TX., Ruben Lopez and wife, Isabel Alonzo of Lamesa, TX., his sisters, Mary Macias and husband, Ernest Macias of Kyle, TX., Angelina Lopez and partner, Adriana Gloria of Austin, TX., Adriana Hensley and husband, Tyler Hensley of Del Valley, TX., his grandsons, Cayden Barrera, and Christopher Barrera, both of Lamesa, TX.; his sisters-in-law, Irene Ogeda, and Monica Torres and husband, Jerry Torres, all of Lubbock, TX.; 4 nieces, 6 nephews, and 2 great nieces; numerous relatives and friends.
