ORLANDO (NANO) TELLO's Obituary
A Celebration of Life funeral service for Orlando (Nano) Tello, age 32 of Lamesa, TX. will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at Gonzales Funeral Home, with Pastor Liboryo Iglesias officiating. The burial committal will follow to the Dawson County Cemetery symbolizing the return of his earthly body to its resting place. Funeral arrangements are under the trusted care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.
The visitation and gathering of family and friends will be a time of shared memories and love, held at Gonzales Funeral Home on Friday, October 17, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., culminating in an Inspirational Service at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday celebrating Nano’s life.
Orlando passed away on Monday, September 22, 2025, in Snyder, TX., but his legacy lives on. He was born on August 27, 1993, in Lamesa, TX., and lived a life filled with love, kindness, and generosity.
Orlando was preceded in death by his father, Frank Tello, Sr.; brother, Frank Tello, Jr.; great-grandparents, Frank and Jovita Samora, Juan and Ernestina Rivas, and many loved ones who welcomed him home.
Nano was born and raised in Lamesa, TX., and was a hardworking man with a heart of gold. He loved farming, going to the casinos, enjoyed being around friends and family where he spread joy and laughter, cherished watching his kids play sports. Nano’s kindness and generosity inspired countless lives, and his most pride and joy were his kids. He was always ready to “turn on” the grill and share his love of food with others. He had many projects to do all the time, and his passion for life was contagious. Nano’s life was a shining testament to the power of love, kindness, and generosity, inspiring countless lives and leaving a lasting legacy. Let us come together to celebrate his life, honor his memory, and continue his legacy of love and kindness.
Orlando is survived by his fiancé , Breanna Flores of Lamesa, TX.; his daughters, Ariyana, and Naomi Tello both of Lamesa, TX.; his sons, Orlando Tello, Jr., Frankie Tello, and Bryston Tello, all of Lamesa, TX., and considered like-a-son, Kayson Parraz of Lamesa, TX.; his mother, San Juanita Rivas of Lamesa, TX.; grandparents, Gilbert and Luisa Rivas of Lamesa, TX; his uncle and aunt, Raymond and Daniela Rivas of Lubbock, TX., uncle and aunt, Fifi and Sandra Montez of San Antonio, TX., uncle and aunt, Romeo and Hilda Mendoza of Lubbock, TX.; nephew, Ivan Tello of Lubbock, TX.; nieces, Serena Hernandez, of Lamesa, TX., and Stephanie Torres, both of Lubbock, TX.; numerous cousins, relatives, and friends who will deeply miss him.
Honoring Nano’s life and legacy, as his pallbearers are Raymond Rivas, Jammy Lucero, Cassandra Lucero, Herby Reyna, Rene Delgado, Jimmy Guajardo.
