NORA V. CUELLAR's Obituary
A Catholic funeral mass service will be celebrated for Nora V. Cuellar age 60 of Lamesa, TX., at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, with Father Chacko Thadathil officiating. Burial committal will follow to the Dawson County Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.
Viewing and visitation will be held on Sunday, October 3. 2021 from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., and on Monday, October 4, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel.
Nora passed away on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at home in Lamesa, TX. She was born on July 9, 1961 in Denver City, TX. Nora married Lee Cuellar on April 18, 1978 in Lamesa, TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Cornelio and Maria Arecelia Villegas.
Nora was a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church. She loved to dance, going to the Casino, and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Nora is survived by her husband, Lee Cuellar of Lamesa, TX.; her daughters, Noelia Mindieta (Joe) of Lubbock, TX., Margarita Cuellar, and Erica Garcia (Matthew), all of Lamesa, TX., her brothers, Johnny Gomez of San Angelo, TX., and Cornelio Villegas (Angelica), and Jesse Villegas, all of Lamesa, TX.; her sisters, Norma Villegas of Lamesa, TX., and Amy Musik (Rick) of Breckenridge, TX.; 14 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.; numerous relatives and friends.
