Monica Marie Mojica's Obituary
A Catholic funeral Mass will be celebrated for Monica Marie Mojica, age 32 of Lamesa, Texas on Friday, June 10, 2016 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church with Father Joseph Kurumbel officiating and assisted by Deacon Daniel Valenzuela. Interment will follow to Lamesa Memorial Park. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home of Lamesa, Texas.
Viewing will be Wednesday and Thursday at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
Monica Marie passed away on Monday, June 6, 2016 in Houston, Texas. She was born on November 30, 1983 in Guymon, Oklahoma.
Monica Marie worked at the Lamesa Sonic Drive-In. Her hobbies included wathcing Horror movies, net-flix, she had a passion for music and liked the game of golf.
She was preceded by her grandfather, Mike (Migel) Cardona and also her grandfather, Joe Mojica; her uncle Jimmy Drake; her aunt, Jo Ann Mojica; her cousin, Christina McGrew.
Monica Marie is survived by her loving family, her father, Joe Mojica and mother, Silvia Cardona of Lamesa, TX.; her brother, Joe Mojica and her sister-in-law, Vanessa Mojica of Lamesa, Texas; her nieces', Triniti Mojica of Seminole, Texas, Kaitlyn Mojica and Kailey Mojica, both of Lamesa, Texas; her grandmother, Maria Mojica and grandmother, Maria Cardona, both of Lamesa, Texas;
numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Pallbearers will be, Ramiro Mojica, Richard Mojica, Mike Casarez, Adam Casarez, Anthony Casarez, Issac Portillo, Tino Vasquez, Oliver Vasquez.
