Miguel "Mike" Jimenez's Obituary
Funeral services for Miguel "Mike" Jimenez, age 63 of Lamesa, Texas will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 26, 2015 at the River of Life Fellowship church with Pastor Mike Barkowsky officiating. Interment will follow to Dawson County Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.
Mike passed away on Friday, February 20, 2015 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas. He was born on January 28, 1952 in Lamesa. Mike married Pauline Barrientes on August 25, 1972 at the Pan de Vida Church in Lamesa.
Mike was known to roof for 40 years. He loved the Dallas Cowboys and was involved with his community church the River of Life Fellowship in Lamesa. Mike's passion was to sing, dance and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Andres and Maria F. Jimenez; his brothers, Palomo Jimenez and Raul Jimenez.
Mike is survived by his family, his wife, Pauline Barrientes Jimenez of Lamesa; his son, Johnny Jay Jimenez and daughter-in-law, Lisa of Lamesa; his two daughters, Anna Marie Ryan and son-in-law, Rick from Virginia, Michelle Lee Jimenez of Dallas, Texas; his brother, Alex Jimenez of Amarillo, Texas; his two sisters, Hope Barboza of Midland, Texas, Beatrice Perez of Arlington, Texas; 14 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.
