Funeral services for Melinda Ann Gonzales, age 42 of Lamesa, Texas will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 25, 2016 at the church of La Trinidad United Methodist Church with Pastor Gilbert Guerra officiating. Buriall will follow to Dawson County Cemeter. Funeral arrangmengts are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home of Lamesa, Texas.
Melinda passed away on Friday, March 18, 2016 at UMC Hospital in Lubbock, Texas. She was born on December 14, 1973 in Alice, Texas.
Melinda was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Lauriano Garza and Marcos Gonzales; her grandmother, Susanna Gonzales.
Melinda enjoyed drawing, coloring and being with her family. She spread her love to all.
Survivors include, her husband, Andy Torres of Lamesa, TX; her children, Arnulfo Cortez, Jr., Maria Cortez, Pearl Cortez, Andrea Torres, Miguel Torres, all of Lamesa, TX.; her parents, Armando Gonzales, Sr. and Blanca Gonzales of Lamesa, TX.; her brothers, Frank Gonzales and wife, Jamie, Marcus (Buddah) Gonzales and wife, Erica, Armando Gonzales, Jr., Ray Gonzales, all of Lamesa, TX., Arnold Gonzales and wife, Annadelia of El Paso, TX.; her sisters, Victoria Ramirez and husband, Jesse, Rebecca Gonzales, all of Lamesa, TX., Melissa Paiz and husband, Johnny of El Paso, TX; many nieces, nephew, relatives, friends.
