MARY M. ROBLES's Obituary
Funeral services for Mary Martinez Robles of San Antonio, TX. and formerly of Welch, TX. will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 27,2019 at The Lighthouse/CWJC Community Center in Lamesa with Pastor Rachel Hernandez officiating. Interment will follow to the Dawson County Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.
Viewing and family visitation will be held on Tuesday February 26, 2019 from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Lighthhouse/CWJC Community Center.
Mary passed away on Friday February 22, 2019 in San Antonio, TX. She was born on September 18, 1945 in Welch, TX. Mary married John Robles, Jr. on August 16, 1972 in Tahoka, TX.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, John Robles, Jr.; her father, E.F. Martinez and her mother, Santa Anna Martinez; her nine brothers and sisters.
Mary enjoyed singing, playing the piano, cooking, crafting, needle work, and going to church. Mary was a house-keeper for many years.
Mary is survived by her son, Roy Robles of San Antonio, TX.; her daughters, Ida Cortez of Odessa, TX., Laura Robles of San Antonio, TX., and Sally Robles of Dallas, TX.; her brothers, Jose Martinez of Lamesa, TX., and Simon Martinez of Welch, TX.; her sisters, Estella Saenz of Brownfield, TX., and Rosa Norman of Shreveport, Lousiana; 16 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; numerous relatives and friends.
