Mary Morales' Obituary
Chapel funeral services for Mary Morales, age 46 of Tahoka, Texas, will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Monday, August 14, 2016 at Gonzales Funeral Home with Chaplin David Jones offciating the service. Interment will follow to Resthaven Memorial Park Cermetery located at 5740 West 19th Street in Lubbock, Texas. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home of Lamesa, Texas.
Visitation will be at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 14, 2016 at Gonzales Funeral Home with a Rosary service set for 7:00 p.m.
Mary passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family and friends on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at University Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas. She was born on November 10, 1969 in Lamesa, Texas.
Mary loved shopping, football, especially The Texas Longhorns and The Houston Texans. she also loved art, reading, writing, coloring and mostly spending time with her beloved family.
Mary was preceded in death by her mother, Maria E. Morales and her brother, Santos Navarette Guerrero, both were from Tahoka, Texas.
Mary is survived by her most loving family, her father, Fidel Morales, Sr. and wife, Rosalinda Morales of Lamesa, Texas; Santiago (Alice) Morales of O'Donnell, Texas, Alice Morales of Lubbock, Texas, Olga (Epifanio) Mojica of Brownfield, Texas, Rogelio (Matilda) Morales of O'Donnell, Texas, Fidel Jr. (Rosie) Morales of Slaton, Texas, Joe Cruz (Andrea) Morales of Grant, Michigan, Juan (Rachael) Morales of O'Donnell, Texas and JoAnn Morales (David Graves) of Tahoka, Texas; her 13 nieces, 11 nephews, 47 great-nieces and nephews, 12 great-grand nieces and nephews and her many close friends that played a huge role in Mary's life.
Pallbearers will be, David Graves, Fidel Morales, Jr., Joe Cruz Morales, Juan Morales, Timothy Mojica, Marcus Cruz Morales.
Family and friends are invited to join the Mary Morales family to a luncheon after the Lubbock, Texas internment service at the St. Jude Catholic Church Hall located at 1829 South 4th Street in Tahoka, Texas.
