MARY C. GARCIA's Obituary
Graveside funeral services in remembrance of Mary C. Garcia, age 84 of Lamesa, TX. will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at the Dawson County Cemetery with Pastor Liboryo Iglesias officiating. Family and friends will gather at 8:00 a.m. at Gonzales Funeral Home and at 9:45 a.m., will follow in funeral procession to the cemetery. Funeral service arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.
Viewing and visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Gonzales Funeral Home.
Mary passed away on Friday, April 9, 2021 in Lamesa, TX. She was born on February 14, 1937 in Yorktown, TX. Mary married Leonard Garcia on February 16, 1985 in Rio Grande, TX.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Garcia; her grandchild, Jayden Gomez; her parents, Jose Angel Cuellar and Sofhia Rosales Cuellar; her brothers, Gregorio Cuellar, Modesto Cuellar, Antonio Cuellar,Margarito Cuellar, and Jose Cuellar; her sister, Rosa C. Macial.
Mary is survived by her son, Gilbert Gomez of Lubbock, TX.; her brother, Paublo Cuellar of Lamesa; her sisters, Juanita C. Barron of Lamesa, TX., and Inez C. Perez of Big Spring, TX.; her grandson, Gilbert Gomez, Jr. of Lubbock, TX.; her grand-daughters, Allison Flores, Arieanna Nevaeh Gomez, Elizabeth Marie Gomez, and Alicia Heavenly Lee Gomez, all of Lubbock, TX.; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
