MARY MANRIQUEZ ESTRADA's Obituary
A funeral Mass ceremony will be celebrated for Mary Manriquez Estrada age 76 of Lamesa, TX will be held at 8:00 a.m., on Saturday, January 14, 2023, at Sanit Michael the Archangel Chapel Church in Midland, TX., located at 3001 West Golf Course Road, Midland, TX. Burial committal will follow to the Dawson County Cemetery with approximate arrival time at 10:30 a.m./11:00 a.m. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.
Visitation will he held on Thursday, January 12, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., and Friday, January 13, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m., with a Rosary prayer service on Friday starting at 7:00 p.m. at Gonzales Funeral Home.
Mary Manriquez Estrada, beloved Mother and Grandmother passed away on January 7, 2023, in Midland, TX. Mary was born in Lamesa, TX., on July 21, 1946, to Gloria and Trinedad Manriquez.
Mary graduated from Lamesa High School in 1964 and went on to work for Lamesa ISD for over 30 years until recently retiring in May 2022.
Mary met her husband, Joe A. Estrada in Lamesa, TX., and were married in 1969. She considered him the “Love of her Life”. Together they raised two children, Jose Marcos and Daniel. Mary was a devoted Mother, Wife, Grandmother and took great pride in her family.
In her free time she enjoyed being there for her kids and grandkids. Mary will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends.
Mary leaves behind her two son’s Jose Marcos Estrada and Daniel Estrada, daughter-in-law Cristina S., son-in-law, Balfre H., and her grandchildren, Jacelda, Jeremiah, Bella, and Andres; her sister, Gloria Lozada and husband, Jesse Lozada of Shallowater, TX.; numerous relatives and friends.
Mary was preceded in death by parents, Trinedad and Gloria Manriquez; her sister, Virginia Manriquez Hernandez.
