Mario Alberto Yzaguirre's Obituary
A Memorial service to celebrate the life of Mario Alberto Yzaguirre, age 57 of San Benito, Texas, will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel of Lamesa, Texas with Daniel Guzman officiating. Memorial services are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home of Lamesa, Texas.
Mario was born on May 2, 1957 in San Benito, Texas. He resided in Lamesa, Texas for nine years, in those nine years, Mario became well known by many for his love of music and his sincere ability to make people smile. After a recent brief illness, on Monday, October 6, 2014 in Lubbock, Texas, Mario went to join our Heavenly Father.
Mario is survived and will be dearly missed by his loving family, his three sons, Joey Yzaguirre and wife, Jade, Daniel Yzaquirre and Bryan Yzaquirre; his daughter, Bertha Yzaquirre and husband, Noe; his father, Martin Yzaquirre, Sr. of San Benito, Texas; his three brothers, Cande Yzaquirre, Martin Yzaquirre, Jr. and wife, Jovita and Gerardo Yzaquirre; his eight sisters, Martha Benavides and husband, Ramiro, Maria Garcia and husband, Silvino, Louisa Aguilar and husband, Santiago, Minerva Miranda and husband, Enrique, Alicia Chavez and husband, Raul, Isabel Varela and husband, Angel, Cristina Zamorana, Gracie Garcia and husband, Eric; two grandchildren; many nieces, nephews.
Other survivors also include Mario's extended family, his common-law wife, Juanita "Janie" Guzman of Lamesa, Texas; five step-sons, Daniel Guzman and wife, Norma, Alberto Guzman and wife, Marie Cervantes, Ricky Ray Rodriguez, Chris Guzman and wife, Christy, Ralph Guzan and wife, Sylvia; two step-daughters, Sonya Guzman and Brenda Meza.
