Funeral services to celebrate the life of Maria D. Iglesias, age 70 of Lamesa, Texas will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at the House of Prayer Church located at 212 NE 4th Street with her brother, Pastor Liboryo Iglesias officiating.
Viewing will be held on Monday at the House of Prayer with an Inspirational Service at 7:00 p.m.
Ms. Iglesias passed away on Friday, June 24, 2016 in Lamesa. She was born on July 4th, 1945 in Eagle Pass, Texas. She was a homemaker. Maria enjoyed every moment being with her family, friends and her beloved church family of House of Prayer.
Maria was preceded in death by her parents, Sabastian and Ramona Iglesias; her sisters, Amelia Barrioz and Josephina Rendon; her brothers, Leon Salinas and Benito Mendez; her grandsons, PFC-Richard Medina, Jr. and Miguel Angel Morales.
Maria is survived by her family, her daughters, Martha Median of Colorado Springs, CO., Esmeralda Perez, Maria Estella Ogeda, Anavel ALvear, all of Lamesa, Texas, Graciela Hernandez of Plainview, Texas; her sons, Victor Manuel Coronado, Louis Alvear, Jr., and Jesse Alvear, all of Slaton, Texas, Jose Alberto Hernandez, Raymond Alvear, Andrew Alvear, Santiago Alvear, all of Lamesa, Texas; her sisters, Ruby Iglesias of Lubbock, Texas, Andrea Uvalle and Sabina Cuellar, both of Lamesa, Texas; her brothers, Jesus Iglesias and Liboryo Iglesias, both of Lamesa, Texas;
33 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren.
