MARGIE PARRAZ's Obituary
Funeral services for Margarita (Margie) Parraz age 81 of Lamesa will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at Primera Baptist Church with Pastor Larry Gamez officiating. Interment will follow to Dawson County Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.
Viewing will be held on Monday and Tuesday with an Inspirational service at 7:00 p.m. at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel.
Margie passed away on Friday, January 19, 2018 in Lamesa. She was born on October 12, 1936 in Three Rivers, Texas. Margie married Domingo Parraz on October 1, 1955.
Margie was preceded in death by her husband, Domingo Parraz, Sr.; her son, Marcos Parraz; her daughter, Diane Hernandez; her parents, Juan and Maria Gutierrez; her brothers, Luis Gutierrez, Jose Gutierrrez; her sister, Rosa Cates.
Before her illness, Margie enjoyed attending her beloved Primera Baptist Church, spending time attending her children's sporting events and precious moments with her family.
Survivors includes her children, her sons, Robert Parraz and wife, Estela of Lamesa, Texas, Domingo Parraz and wife, Bonnie of Midland, Texas and Louis Parraz of Lamesa, Texas; her daughter, Mary Jane Guerra and husband, Freddie of Lamesa, Texas; 11 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren.
