Funeral services for Manuel R. (Gilo) Medina age 58 of Lamesa, Texas will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at the River of Life Fellowship with Pastor Jemeriah Aguayo officiating. Interment will follow to Dawson County Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, January 20, 2019 and Monday, January 21, 2019 at Gonzales Funeral Home,
Manuel passed away on Friday, January 18, 2019 in Lamesa. He was born on December 22, 1960 in Lamesa. In the year 1981 Manuel and Ofelia Delgado started a new family life together.
He was preceded in death by his parents, father, Toribio Medina, Sr., and his mother, Augustina R. Medina; his brothers, Toby Medina, Jr., and Joe Medina, Sr.
Joe was a commercial truck driver for many years.
Survivors include, his significant-other, Ofelia Delgado of Lamesa; his daughter, Elva Medina of Lamesa; grand-daughter, Nevaeh Medina, and grandson, Izaiyah Rendon, both of Lamesa; step-daughter, Maria Delgado of New Braunfels, TX., step-sons, John Martin, Jr. of Crane, TX., Roger Martin, and Chris Delgado, both of Lamesa; sisters, Ofelia Paiz of Lubbock, TX., and Diana Rivera of Lamesa; brother, Miguel Medina of Lamesa; several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
