Funeral services for Magdalena Morales, age 79 of Lamesa, TX. will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel with Pastors, Manuel and Irene Salazar officiating. The burial committal will follow to the Dawson County Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home of Lamesa, TX.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, October 29, 2019 starting at 9:00 a.m., with an Inspirational Service at 7:00 p.m. at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel.
Magdalena passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 in Odessa, TX. She was born on May 25, 1940 in Ingleside, TX. Magdalena married Santiago Morales, Sr. in 1958 in Lamesa, TX. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death her husband, Santiago Morales, Sr.; her son, Joe Luis Morales; her daughter, Julie Morales; her parents, Juan and Juanita Jimenez.
Magdalena is survived by her family, her sons, Santiago Morales, Jr. of Big Spring, TX., and Felipe Morales of Lamesa, TX.; her daughter, Yolanda Morales of Odessa, TX.; her brothers, Salvador Jimenez, and Freddy Jimenez, both of Amarillo, TX.; her sisters, Elizabeth Medina, and Juanita Jimenez, both of Lamesa, TX.; 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; several relatives and friends.
