Funeral services for Lewis Edward Jenkins, age 70 of Lamesa, Texas will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, May 18, 2019 at The Lighthouse Community Center(CWJC Building)located at 1013 N. 2nd Street, Lamesa, TX Interment will follow to the Dawson County Cemetery with US Military funeral honors. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.
Lewis passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2019 in Lamesa. He was born on October 7, 1948 in Lamesa to the late Charlie Jenkins, Jr. and Oradee Jenkins. He went to Blackshear High School in Lamesa and graduated Class of 1966. Lewis served in the US Army. He attended Johnson Memorial Church of God In Christ in Lamesa. Lewis was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie Jr. and Oradee Jenkins.
