Funeral services for Kattie Lee Madkins Brown age 72 of Lamesa, TX. will be held at 12:00 Noon p.m. on Sunday, February 6, 2022 at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mossaline Madkins officiating. Burial committal will follow to the Dawson County Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m.
Kattie passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 in Lamesa. She was born on October 10, 1949 in Midway, TX.
Kattie was preceded in death by her parents, Antion and Willie Bell Madkins, two sisters and one brother.
Kattie was a housewife and enjoyed hanging out with friends, and helping with grandchildren. Kattie enjoyed calling in to KPET Radio during their morning program of the “Birthday Club” to wish many friends Happy Birthdays and Anniversaries.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Michael Brown of Carthage, TX., Tony Brown of Dallas, TX., Jeffery Brown of Big Spring, TX.; her daughter, Kimberly Allison of Lamesa; a host of relatives and friends.
