A Catholic funeral mass will be celebrated for Katherine Jimenez age 47 of Lamesa at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 21, 2018 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church with Father Joseph Kurumbel officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.
Viewing will be held on Friday, July 20, 2018 with a 7:00 p.m. Rosary prayer service at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel.
Katherine passed away on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 in Lamesa. She was born on June 3, 1971 in Lamesa. Katherine married Edward Jimenez on April 12, 1992 in Lamesa.
She was preceded in death by her father, Paublo B. Hernandez; her daughter, Annabell Jimenez; her grandparents, Felipe and Tiomtea Hernandez.
Katherine enjoyed cooking, baking and helping others. She was a memeber of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church.
Katherine is survived by her loving family, her husband, Edward Jimenez and her two daughters, Dahlia Jimenez and Stephanie Jimenez, all of Lamesa; her mother, Esperanza Hernandez of Lamesa; her sisters, Christine Gonzales and husband, Daniel Gonzales of Lamesa and Sara Rodriguez and husband, Gilbert Rodriguez of Lamesa; several relatives and friends.
