Chapel funeral services for Julia N. Salazar age 74 of Lamesa, Texas will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday April 12, 2019 at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Gwen Aldridge officiating. Interment will follow to the Dawson County Cemtery. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home of Lamesa, Texas.
Viewing will be held on Thursday April 11, 2019 at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel.
Julia passed away on Wednesday April 10, 2019 in Lubbock, Texas. She was born on August 14, 1944 in Lamesa, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her father, Pedro Salazar, Sr. and her mother, Santos Salazar.
Julia was involved in farming with her brother. She enjoyed watching movies at home, cooking, and always was ready to help those she knew that needed a helping hand. Julia was a wonderful daughter, sister, aunt and friend.
Julia is survived by her brother, Pete Salazar of Lamesa; her cousins, Jacinto Salazar and Ricardo Salazar, Jr., both of Lamesa, Texas; her aunts, Odelia Luna of Lamesa, Texas, and Ofelia Gonzales of Lubbock, Texas; her uncle, Jesus Salazar of Phoenix, AZ.; numerous relatives and friends.
