JUANITA C. VASQUEZ's Obituary
Funeral services for Juanita C. Vasquez age 89 of Lamesa, Texas will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at La Trinidad United Methodist Church of Lamesa with Pastor Juan Jose Vasquez officiating. Interment will follow to Dawson County Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care and custody of Gonzales Funeral Home of Lamesa.
Viewing will be held on Monday and Tuesday November 26th and 27th at La Trinidad United Methodist Church with Inspirational Services at 7:00 p.m.
Juanita passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday November 23, 2018 in Lamesa. She was born on December 14, 1928 in Runge, Texas. Juanita married Felipe Vasquez on April 5, 1947 in Corpus Christi, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Felipe Vasquez; her daughter, Carolina C. Vasquez; her parents, Vicente and Guadalupe Castaneda; her sister, Isidra Vasquez.
Juanita was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved gardening and spending quality time with her family at very moment. Juanita was a member for many years of La Trinidad United Methodist Church where she was very active and participated in church activities.
The Vasquez family wishes to extend to Juanita's niece, Rosa Perez a very special "Thank You" for her dedicated loving care for her Aunt Juanita.
Juanita is survived by her four sons, Guadalupe C. Vasquez of Lamesa, TX., Juan Jose C. Vasquez of Lamesa, TX., Ricardo C. Vasquez of Lubbock, TX., and Ruben C. Vasquez of Lamesa, TX.; 15 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
